Birthday Parties
Birthday Party Package Costs in Dubai: What to Compare

A birthday quote is easier to judge when you know what it covers. A price for a decorated room, a price per child at an activity centre and a private venue package can all be reasonable, but they buy different celebrations. Start with your full guest list and the experience you want, then compare the total for the same brief.
This guide uses Pampa's published birthday packages as a worked example, checked on 9 October 2026. These are Pampa prices, not a Dubai market average. Availability, your final guest mix and any changes to the setup need confirmation before booking.
First compare the venue, guest count and party time
Write down the number of children and accompanying adults separately. A package labelled for 25 guests does not mean 25 children plus unlimited parents. Ask how every attendee is counted and how extra guests affect seating, refreshments and the layout.
Check whether your booking gives you a private venue, a shared activity area or a dedicated party room. Ask for the event start and finish times, supplier access, setup and collection windows. An activity session and a full birthday celebration may have very different schedules.
- Is venue rental included, and which areas can your group use?
- How many guests and place settings are included?
- Which activities are included, for how long and with how many participants at once?
- Who welcomes guests, leads activities and coordinates the cake moment?
Pampa's published birthday prices, with VAT calculated
Pampa lists three packages with venue rental, a themed backdrop, cake stand, welcome sign, themed tables and giveaway stand. The packages are available for children's and adult birthdays. Prices below include only the listed base package and its 5% VAT; they are not a quote for additional guests or a custom brief.
- Basic: AED 14,999 before VAT, for 25 guests. VAT is AED 749.95, making AED 15,748.95 including VAT.
- Extravaganza: AED 21,999 before VAT, for 30 guests. VAT is AED 1,099.95, making AED 23,098.95 including VAT.
- Royal: AED 34,999 before VAT, for 30 guests. VAT is AED 1,749.95, making AED 36,748.95 including VAT.
What changes between the packages?
Basic centres on the venue and themed decoration, including a four-metre backdrop and tables for 25 guests. A host, magician or catering should not be assumed to come with that base package.
Extravaganza adds a six-metre backdrop, tables for 30 guests, a light-up age number, popcorn and cotton candy station, slime making and a magician, among its listed features. Royal expands the decoration and entertainment further, with a party host, claw machine, two VR machines, paper disco show, open café drinks and bubble dome among its inclusions.
Choose by what your guests will use. A larger backdrop is a design choice, not extra guest capacity. The two VR machines listed in Royal should not be read as exclusive hire of a free-roam VR arena. Ask which equipment and activity format your proposal includes.
A worked example for five additional children
Pampa currently lists additional children at AED 100 each before VAT. If the team approves adding five children to a Basic booking, the calculation is AED 14,999 + (5 × AED 100) = AED 15,499 before VAT. At 5%, VAT is AED 774.95, giving AED 16,273.95 including VAT.
The five additions therefore increase this example by AED 525 including VAT. This is arithmetic using the published rate, not approval of a particular headcount or an offer to extend every package feature. Confirm the revised layout, place settings, activity participation and any accompanying-adult charges. Food, a cake or other additions would change the total again.
Separate decoration, food and entertainment
A cake stand is not a birthday cake, and a giveaway stand is not a set of filled party bags. Similarly, a snack station is not necessarily a meal for every guest. Mark each item as included, supplied by you or separately quoted.
Pampa's birthday FAQ says you may bring your own cake and food, and the team can recommend catering partners. Share delivery and serving plans in advance, including dietary requirements. For a home or garden celebration, request a location-specific proposal instead of transferring the venue-package total to a different setup.
- Food and cake: quantities, serving arrangements, drinks and supplier delivery times.
- Decoration: approved design, dimensions, personalised details and removal arrangements.
- Entertainment: equipment, performers, hosts, activity duration and guest limits.
- Event support: who supervises children, coordinates suppliers and handles changes on the day.
Confirm the final total and booking terms
Ask for a written proposal showing the base package, each extra, VAT and the final payable total. Confirm how long the quote is valid, when guest numbers become final and what happens if you need extra time.
Pampa's published terms say that a deposit may be required and payment terms are specified in the booking confirmation. Ask what any deposit covers, whether it is credited against the total, when the balance is due and which cancellation or date-change terms apply to your chosen service. Do not assume a payment is refundable simply because it is called a deposit.
Send a brief that makes quotes easy to compare
Share your preferred date, birthday age, separate adult and child counts, location, spending limit and three must-have details. Ask the team to identify which published package fits and list any changes beside it. That gives you a useful total to compare without losing the details that matter to your celebration.
